At Figue & Pepper, we include you in the care of your animals, every step of the way. Our open-concept clinic gives you the option to be present during certain procedures, helping your animal to remain calm and at ease during their visit. We can also make farm calls for all your large animal needs.

Our team members each have their own unique background and expertise; combined with a cooperative environment, you can be sure your pet will always receive the best care from any of our staff. Together, we are a cohesive healthcare team for your animal, and we pride ourselves on working with you to see to their well being every step of the way.

Figue & Pepper is the vision of Dr. Carolyn Train, DVM. Growing up amongst animals of all sorts, she developed a passion for their care from a young age. With the support of those around her, she was able to grow that passion into becoming a veterinarian and opening her own clinic.

“Growing up and working in barns, I became accustomed to spending a lot of time one on one with the veterinarian whenever they were checking my horse.

Because of that, I always felt well-informed, well-prepared, and part of the decision process when discussing treatment options.

I wanted to bring that same level of client education and involvement to all of my clients, both with small and large animals. That same feeling of being a team carries through to all the staff here at the clinic, allowing for a truly cooperative environment for anyone who steps through our door.”
